Scrapbook Pair

There are scrapbooks and there are scrapbooks. We produce high quality, custom made by hand, professional level scrapbooks in genuine leathers, faux leathers, cloths and some other materials tailored to your style with choices of over 30 details and options including padding and hot stamping. Any quantity from one to hundreds may be ordered and there are no size restrictions.  Any exact size required may be ordered.

The scrapbook pair is the most flexible item we produce.  Since the front cover and back cover are not connected, the capacity of the scrapbook is not only variable, it is also almost limitless.  You can give a presentation with 15 pages in the morning and then in the afternoon show the same covers with 100 pages inside. The only work necessary will be changing the pages and swapping the screwposts out for larger ones.

The word scrapbook has a connotation of being less than professional and while we sell to many customers who use this product in a conventional scrapbook manner, we also make scrapbooks for professionals who like the informality and flexibility that only this product offers and prefer the quality upscale book that our crafts men and women produce by hand.  This is the slimmest and least bulky product we sell and this benefit has been reaped by every level of customer we serve.

The scrapbook is identical to the portfolio book in every single way except one. The scrapbook does not have a spine – the front and back covers are not connected.  Each detail and option available on the portfolio book works for this product. In fact, the scrapbook pair offers a few extras that make it even more unique.

The spine cap is a product developed here to act as a spine in a product that does not have one.  The spine cap sits in the screwpost binding to convey a seamless look that hides and protects the edges of the pages inside the binding, yet still permits capacity changes up or down.  Also, since the scrapbook is generally built with thinner binding to the hold the pages, it can be presented forward to back or back to forward...the front cover and back cover are built identically and can be easily interchanged. Scrapbooks may be constructed to expose or to hide the screwposts.

Any material we offer can be used to build the scrapbook, stamping is availabe in any color and finish, and details like custom pockets, padded covers, and round corners are absolutely available.  Call one of our salespeople to discuss the similarities and differences between the scrapbook and our other book presentations.

• To assure accuracy, all orders must be submitted in writing and must be signed by an authorized individual. (Fax, mail, E-mail).
• When ordering presentations, for size, use the size of inserts to be presented (prints, laminations, chromes, boards, etc.). Scrapbook pairs will be made to fit.
• SK is a Brewer-Cantelmo trademark for high quality simulated leather.
• Premium SK - an upholstery grade simulated leather/suede (hundreds of choices of colors/finishes). All Novasuede Premium SK orders are handled on a quotation basis.
• Because our products are made to order and/or usually include personalized imprinting, there are no refunds or exchanges.
• Any outside materials submitted or supplied to us for any purpose (scoring,  punching, cutting, hinging, leather or other coverings, etc.) will receive our best efforts to protect them and to return them in good order, but they are submitted at owners risk. We will bear no financial or other responsibility for any such materials.
• When referring to size dimensions, the binding (screwpost) side is always the first dimension shown.
• When figuring cost,  select size and covering material from the table. Find the base price. Add options, name or logo stamping, dies, etc. where appropriate. Add jackets ordered (see jackets/sheet protectors). Prices exclude duties, taxes or delivery charges. Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars, F.O.B. New York City factory and are subject to change.
• The pricing above reflects materials that we typically "stock" as shown in this website.  If, for example, you ask us to purchase a small amount of yardage of cloth that we do not stock, there will be a small up-charge to the prices on the tables above.  Similarly if you want us to use a genuine leather that we do not "stock", there may be additional cost.  These additional charges represent items we do not stock, higher additional acquisition costs and shipping.  Increasing the quantity of items purchased help minimize same.
