A wine list can range from a couple of bottles to a cellar containing 10,000 bottles. Brewer Cantelmo can help you design the wine book that best fits your needs. Whether this is a 1 page card that sits in a 1 view menu or a 80 page list, we can hand make the solution.
For lists with greater than 8 pages, we recommend moving away from the corners that hold the pages and instead work with rings or screwposts. The ring binder is a very common concept that can still be elegant and sophisticated. With dozens of customizable options, no guest will confuse your wine list with a staples binder.
The ring style, color, placement, and size can all be customized in addtion to the color and materials used and other details pertaining to the cover itself. The major benefit of a ring binder over any other style of wine book is that the pages will lay completely flat making reading the page easier. The pages may sit in the rings directly or be placed in durable plastic sheet protectors which then get inserted into the rings. Our sales team can help guide you through the ring binder process and answer any questions you may have.
The second major wine book style for lists with multiple pages is the screwpost. This product is similar to our top selling portfolio book but with tweaks and adjustments customed for restaurant use. Stain resistance and durabilty are critical in the restaurant industry and all the construction decisions we make keep this in mind. The screwpost style of binding allows pages to turn seamlessly without the binding visible. It also allows for easy page changing for those lists with constant adjustments and 86s.
While the pages will not lay completely flat as in a ring binder, many of our restaurant clients find the screwpost to be more refined since no part of the binding is exposed. The differences are subtle and our customer service respresentatives can give advice based on your particular situation.
Since the quantity is typically lower in wine books (we recommend the number be equal to 2/3 of all tables + 2/3 bar seats + extra) many of our customers see the wine book as an opportunity to wow the guest with an enhanced wine book above and beyond the dinner or lunch menu. For this reason, we offer durable leathers and suedes in addition to simulated leather and cloths. Along with our other products, the wine book can be stamped with your restaurant name or logo in any color and in any finish.

To assure accuracy, all orders must be submitted in writing and must be signed by an authorized individual. (Fax, mail, E-mail).

When ordering presentations, for size, use the size of inserts to be presented (prints, laminations, chromes, boards, etc.). Binders will be made to fit.

Premium SK - an upholstery grade simulated leather/suede (hundreds of choices of colors/finishes). All Novasuede Premium SK orders are handled on a quotation basis.

Because our products are made to order and/or usually include
personalized imprinting, there are no refunds or exchanges.

Any outside materials submitted or supplied to us for any purpose (
scoring,
punching, cutting,
hinging, leather or other coverings, etc.) will receive our best efforts to protect them and to return them in good order, but they are submitted at owners risk. We will bear no financial or other responsibility for any such materials.

When referring to size dimensions, the binding side is always the first dimension shown.

When figuring cost, select size and covering material from the table. Find the base price. Add options, name or logo stamping, dies, etc. where appropriate. Add jackets ordered (see jackets/sheet protectors). Prices exclude duties, taxes or delivery charges. Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars, F.O.B. New York City factory and are subject to change.
- The pricing above reflects materials that we typically "stock" as shown in this website. If, for example, you ask us to purchase a small amount of yardage of cloth that we do not stock, there will be a small up-charge to the prices on the tables above. Similarly if you want us to use a genuine leather that we do not "stock", there may be additional cost. These additional charges represent items we do not stock, higher additional acquisition costs and shipping. Increasing the quantity of items purchased help minimize same.
